Who we are

This website, 1000aztecwest.co.uk (the “Site”), is the marketing website for 1000 Aztec West, Bristol, and is operated on behalf of the building’s owner by CEG together with the appointed letting agents. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to the operator of the Site, who acts as the data controller for personal data collected through it.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What personal data we collect and why

Enquiries and brochure downloads

When you contact us or request property particulars through the Site, we collect the details you provide – typically your name, email address, phone number and company – together with your message.

  • Purpose: to respond to your enquiry and provide the information you requested about the building.
  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests (responding to a commercial property enquiry you initiated); or, where you ask to be kept informed, consent.
  • Retention: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless an ongoing business relationship develops.

Enquiries may be shared with the Site’s letting agents – currently JLL, Cushman & Wakefield and Carter Jonas – so they can respond to you about availability and viewings. Each agent handles your data under its own privacy policy once received.

Website analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (pages visited, visit duration, approximate location, referral source). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

  • Purpose: to measure and improve how the Site performs.
  • Lawful basis: consent, given through the cookie banner. Analytics does not run if you decline, and you can withdraw consent at any time via the “Cookie Settings” control on the Site.

Google may process this data on servers outside the UK/EEA; such transfers are safeguarded by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses.

Business visitor identification

With your consent, we use Lead Forensics (with data from partners such as Demandbase) to identify the organisations visiting the Site. This service uses your IP address and related identifiers to infer the business you may be visiting from, so that we or our agents can follow up with organisations that appear interested in the building. It does not tell us your name.

  • Purpose: business-to-business marketing of the property.
  • Lawful basis: consent, given through the cookie banner (“Marketing” category). This service does not run if you decline.

Technical data and Site functionality

Our hosting provider automatically records limited technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) in server logs for security and troubleshooting. The Site also loads supporting services needed for it to display and function – embedded Google Maps, and web fonts from Adobe Fonts (Typekit) and Google Fonts – which involves your IP address being sent to those providers when the relevant content loads.

  • Purpose: operating, securing and displaying the Site.
  • Lawful basis: legitimate interests (running a functioning, secure website).

Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can give, refuse or change at any time via the cookie banner or the persistent Cookie Settings control. Full details of every cookie, its purpose and duration are in our Cookie Policy.

Who we share data with

We share personal data with: the letting agents named above (for enquiries); our website developer and hosting provider, who maintain the Site on our behalf; and the service providers named in this policy (Google, Lead Forensics and our consent-management provider). We do not sell your personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the UK/EEA, we rely on adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: enquiry records for up to 24 months after last contact, analytics data for up to 14 months, and server logs for up to 90 days. Consent records are kept as evidence of your cookie choices for as long as required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to our processing (including any processing based on legitimate interests); data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is our lawful basis, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised, and significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
